The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced salesperson and people leader to manage and oversee all aspects of branch operations and customer relations at this busy and highly successful location. 

The role is responsible for developing and executing the branch business plan, together with marketing and promotional activities, business development, referral generation and cross selling.  The team of sales and support professionals will be seeking your guidance and knowledge to improve and grow.  Your ability to become an integral part of the broader community will support your ability to build strong and enduring relationships with our customers. 

Reporting to the Area Manager, this role will work with people across all aspects of the business and will actively participate in Area and Zone strategy and planning sessions.

The Person

You can demonstrate an ability to achieve outstanding results at all stages of the sales process.  Your agricultural knowledge will be across at least one of our product groups and you will be keen to further develop your repertoire across the entire range.  You have strong financial acumen and can lead from the front to drive a sales performance culture with the team.  Your people leader skills will motivate and develop the team to ensure we deliver the best advice, support and standards of service to our customers.    A pragmatic and accountable approach together with outstanding communication and problem solving skills will further enhance your success in this role.  Tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Agricultural would be advantageous, but not essential.  A current and valid driver’s license is a necessity.
